Now in its ninth year, the dinner and auction event
promises to once again be Reedsport's unofficial
"Reunion Weekend!".
Bedrock's Restaurants and the all-volunteer auction
committee are working hard to keep the auction event an
exciting and memorable experience for everyone. Make
plans now to join us the weekend of April 10 in
Reedsport-- we want you to be here!
The Benefit Dinner and Auction continues to be the
centerpiece of fund-raising efforts to maintain the school
athletic programs available to Reedsport students. Over
the years, the event has grown into much more than an
auction. It is THE social event of the year in Reedsport,
and serves as a school-wide reunion for many. Once
again, we are working to include more non-auction
activities to appeal to a wider range of people with
Reedsport connections. Contact your family and former
classmates, and consider joining us as a group!

- 9:00am to Noon Saturday -- Golf at Forest Hills Country Club. Bedrock's own Mark Bedard is your host for this pre-
auction, 9-hole scramble. Last year's inaugural golf event raised over $900 for RHS Athletics!. - Noon to 1:00pm Saturday -- Open House at Reedsport High School. Reconnect with the past, and see the future.
Tour the completed renovations, including the remodeled office, new science labs, locker rooms, and corridors. Also
see what's under construction right now. Z-hall...what's that? - 5:00pm Saturday -- The dinner and auction event starts with a social hour and cash bar. Live music from the Slough
Kats! Silent auction items will also be available for bidding right away. Masters of ceremony will once again be RHS
alums Tom and Bob Huebner. - 6:00pm Saturday -- Dinner served by Bedrock's Catering Services. This year's menu choices are:
- Jambalaya made with Bay Shrimp, Andouille Sausage and Chicken
- Chicken Medallions with Sweet Pepper Sauce and Rice
- Beef Marsala with Portabella Mushrooms and Garlic Mashed Potatoes
- Approx. 6:40pm -- The ever-popular Dessert Auction is back, as diners bid to win the scrumptious dessert of their
choice! - Approx. 7:00pm -- Silent auction bidding begins to close in marked groups of 15-20 items. Bidding will continue to
close, in groups, every 20 minutes or so. - Approx. 7:15pm -- The highlight of the evening begins, with bidding on about 20 to 25 great auction items, plus raffle
and other chance prizes. - During the program, a special tribute to Jack Blum.
- After the auction, about 9pm, more socializing and live music just a block away at the Reedsport Eagles Lodge.
