For its eighth year, the dinner and auction event expands to become Reedsport's unofficial "Reunion Weekend!". Bedrock's
Restaurants and the auction committee are working hard to bring all the same great fun and food you have come to expect with
the auction event, plus more activities this year! Make plans now to join us the weekend of April 4 in Reedsport!
We know your budget is tight these days. And these are the times when family and friends become more important then ever.
We hope you'll spend part of your weekend with us. Whether you spend $275 or $2.75-- we want you to be with us, to share
good times, and reconnect with the wonderful community of people that IS Reedsport.
The Benefit Dinner and Auction continues to be the centerpiece of fund-raising efforts to maintain the school athletic programs
available to Reedsport students. But over the years, the event has grown into much more than an auction. It is THE social event
of the year in Reedsport, and serves as a school-wide reunion for many. This year, we're adding even more non-auction
activities to appeal to a wider range of people with Reedsport connections. Contact your family and former classmates, and
consider joining us as a group!

- NEW! Friday & Saturday Nights -- Live music both nights at the Eagles Lodge in Old Town Reedsport. Catch up with
old friends, make news ones, and dance to good-time Rock 'N Roll with PBA and the Hot Flashes. (Don't forget-- all
bars and clubs in Oregon are now smoke-free!) - NEW! 9:00am to Noon Saturday -- Golf at Forest Hills Country Club. Bedrock's own Mark Bedard is your host for this
pre-auction, 9-hole scramble. More details and registration info. here. - NEW! 11:00am to 1:00pm Saturday -- Open House at Reedsport High School. Reconnect with the past, and see the
future. See some of the renovation work which will be underway, and see the plans for the summer work to come. Say
goodbye to "Z Hall". - NEW! 2:00pm to 3:00pm Saturday -- "A History of Reedsport - The City on Stilts" at Umpqua Discovery Center,
Riverfront Way in Reedsport. Your auction ticket includes FREE admission to this seminar-style presentation by former
RHS coach and teacher Jim Akre. Part of Oregon's Sesquicentennial Celebration, courtesy of the Braves Boosters. - NEW! 5:00pm to 10:00pm Saturday -- Family Open Swim at Highland Pool. While you're at the auction, drop the kids
off (parents and grandparents welcome too!) at our fantastic pool facility. Lifeguard on duty. - 5:00pm Saturday -- The dinner and auction event starts with a social hour and cash bar. Silent auction items will also
be available for bidding right away. Masters of ceremony will once again be RHS alums Tom and Bob Huebner. - 6:00pm Saturday -- Dinner served by Bedrock's Restaurants in Reedsport and Winchester Bay. Last year's dishes
were superb, and you can bet Karen Bedard will follow-up this year with equally mouth-watering selections. - Approx. 6:40pm -- Dinner participants bid to win the scrumptious dessert of their choice!
- Approx. 7:00pm -- Silent auction bidding begins to close in marked groups of 15-20 items. Bidding will continue to
close, in groups, every 20 minutes or so. - Approx. 7:15pm -- The highlight of the evening begins, with bidding on about 20 to 25 great auction items, plus raffle
and other chance prizes. - NEW! -- Post-auction gatherings at Old Town establishments. The Waterfront, Eagles Lodge, and Tide's Inn will
welcome auction attendees for some late-night fun! - NEW! -- FREE On-demand Shuttle Service around town! Got a cell phone? Know someone who does? Then you've
got a ride! Having fun means doing it safely and responsibly. Lewis Transportation will offer complimentary shuttle
service around the Reedsport area.
